Black Henna

Black henna is not the same as natural henna. Do not be fooled by its dark stain. Black henna colors the skin jet black.

It contains PPD (para-phenylenediamine) which is a black chemical dye that is used is used to make KEVLAR®, epoxycoatings, including fungicides, corrosion inhibitors, urethane coatings, rubber chemicals, hair dyes and polyurethane.

IT SHOULD NOT BE USED AS HENNA ON ANYONE EVER


Black Henna Burns

PPD is a toxin that can get into the bloodstream through the skin. It can cause damage to kidneys, liver, skin and possibly even cancer. It’s use in illegal here in Canada.
