Cajeput (Melaleuca cajeputi)
This is considered a "terp". A terp is the term used to describe certain essential oils that give henna paste a richer color.
You can put essential oils in your bath, for massage, diluted with skin products, for hair care, inhalation, and diffusion.
Do not take essential oils internally

Smells great (a bit tea tree-ish, a bit like a seabuckthorn oil I use) and makes my henna a deeper color.

I read a lot of reviews about how drying henna could be. I was advised to add an essential oil to the mixture and it was suggested that this one was good, so I ordered it. I also read the smell from the henna was strong, some people liked it, others didn't.
Iced my henna with warm water and essential oil only and from the beginning I like the earthy smell of the henna but once I added the essential oil it was absolutely amazing.
Because if my scede I was not able to use the mixture immediately and stored it in my refrigerator. Every evening I would open the refrigerator door to the most amazing scent, I loved It.
prior to applying the mixture I dampened my hair and put a small amount of the essential oil on my hair. From application to rinsing it out there was never a problem with dryness and I think knows that to the essential oil.

Brings out the deepest color of henna!!!

This by far is the best oil to bring out the color of henna for skin. I've used it for Red Raj and also the Henna Sooq supreme blend- never before have I gotten such great results with henna. I've tried lavender and also sweet orange for henna on skin but it hasn't come out as dark with those.
Great for body art!

I have used both lavender oil and cajeput oil and I find that I get a much darker and richer stain with this oil. Thanks Henna sooq!
