Savannah's hair regimen and recipe:
"I’ve been using henna to dye my hair for a little over a year now and I love it! I used to bleach my hair blonde for years and have had every color of hair under the sun…needless to say my hair was fried, and badly damaged. I tried every product in the store to try to restore my hair and nothing worked, until I did some research online and stumbled upon henna. I was a bit skeptical at first, after all, I tried every salon product out there and nothing worked well, so how will a little plant help? Boy was I surprised! I bought henna, indigo and amla powders online, mixed them together and after many hours and quite a mess, my hair looked gorgeous! I’ve been using henna for over a year now to dye my hair a perfect shade of auburn brown.
My recipe is as follows…
200g of henna powder 100g of Indigo powder 50 g of Amla powder
I mix up the henna with lemon juice the night before I want to dye my hair, let it sit overnight, then I mix the indigo and amla powders with warm water and add them to my henna mix. Let it sit on my hair for 3-4 hours, rinse and voila!
I love the way my hair looks and how fast it grows now. I’m always getting compliments from people about how nice and shiny my hair is. I will never go back to commercial hair dyes again."

I used to first of my 500 gram order last night, and I've never had such an easy time rinsing henna from my hair. Even though I was rinsing in a hurry, there was no residue or residual henna, just exceptionally shiny red hair. The stain is great--better than the Yemeni was--and it applies as easily as it rinses.

I wanted to buy the Red Raj, but they had been out of it for a while, so I checked some of the other hennas and decided to give this Rajasthani a try. I was very pleased, first of all, with the fast shipping. When it came time to use it, I was very happy with how easily it washed out. The color turned out a really nice shade of red on my gray hair, not orangey. I never got to try the Red Raj, but I can't imagine it being a lot different. Unfortunately, now they are out of this one, too. I sure hope they get some in soon, as I will have to cover my gray roots in a couple of weeks.

I love the tint that this henna gave my hair. I am African American and have very course, kinky hair. I used the Red Raj for my first henna treatment and wanted to buy that again, but it was out of stock, so I picked this one. I simple mixed it with water and honey and left it on my hair overnight. Washed it out in the morning, and twisted my hair with some leave in conditioner (shea moisture). I noticed right away a nice red tint to my hair (my natural hair is dark brown) and its very noticeable in the sun. My hair didn't get too dry with the henna but I did make sure to condition it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to get a nice reddish/burgundy tint to their hair.

This was my first time ordering from Henna Sooq and it definitely won't be the last. The Rajasthani Henna was really easy to use and had a nice smooth consistency. Made it a breeze to apply it by myself.
It's been a few days since I dyed my hair and the color turned out a vibrant auburn on me. I'm super pleased with the results!

I am in loive with this henna! I came back to the Orangic Rajasthani Indian henna after using a different henna, which dried out my hair and left it tangled. I mixed it with yerba mate and a few drops of olive oil. This henna covered my grays, left my hair soft. I rinsed my hair with cool water and the henna came out easily and my hair was tangle-free. I have thick, tightly-curled black hair with a smattering of grays, and NOW the grays are burgundy highlights. I will use this again!

I wanted to rate my overall experience as well as the henna. Customer service was top notch. Khadija was fantastic in answering my questions and directing me toward this henna when I mentioned I wanted more of an auburn stain for my 4A hair.
I ordered 200 grams to try it out and I was surprised to find how fast the shipping was. I'm a henna gloss person so I mixed 100 g with HEHH conditioner, ACV, and a dash of a mix consisting of avocado oil, lavender essential, peppermint essential, and sage essential. I noticed immediately that the consistency was smoother than the Dulhan I usually use (almost batter instead of peanut butter) and a lot easier to manage. I froze the mix and came back to it. I was initially worried that the coverage wouldn't be as good when I applied it and added a bit more just in case. And I still had some left over, which I refroze. I left the mix on overnight, which I usually don't do, and took it out in the morning. The sift was SUPERB. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to wash away henna that felt like silk, made my hair feel like silk, and easily went down my bathtub drain. And the color was precisely what I was looking for. Now I can supplement my Indian grocer Dulhan and use this as my go-to henna because other premium henna sellers just aren't economical especially when it comes to buying a larger quantity of henna. You have a repeat customer :)

I am a 3rd time Henna user. First 2 times I bought the box from Sprouts and it turned my hair burnt orange so then I used chestnut and it turned my hair a dark dark brown. I was looking for the rich red color that I was getting at the salon. So I found this sight and bought 100 g from here. I almost did not use it as I was scared but sucked it up and used it. All I have to say is BEAUTIFUL!!! I have that rich tone back that I was looking for and look forward to watching it settle into its beautiful color over the next few days. I will be ordering again!!
Thank you so much!!

This is my favorite type of henna. I use it about once every 8 to 10 weeks. I used to have dandruff but I have not noticed it lately. I mix 100 grams with cooled green tea and let it sit for 4-5 hours. I then add a tablespoon of honey and apply it, letting it sit overnight. It covers all my gray strand like no regular conventional dye would.
