Outline of "Introduction to Natural Hair Care" workshop:

-We will discuss the origins of henna, and herbal plants. Its historical uses in culture and religion. We will talk about current emerging trends using natural herbs on hair in the West.
-Safety Issues: We will review the dangers of using chemicals on your hair, especially for pregnant women, and those with allergies.
-Natural herbs : In detail, we will look at all of the natural herbs that can be used on hair. We will see how each herb is beneficial and how it can be used effectively. Powdered herbs that will be reviewed are henna, indigo, cassia obovata, amla powder, and shikakai.
-Recipes and Mixing: A live demonstration of how to mix natural herbs, our secret recipe, and explanation of their chemistry. We will also look at a variety of hair recipes and possible color results.
- Henna Application Demonstration: Using false hair, we will see how to properly apply your herbal paste onto hair, and get the best color results.

Supplies Included: 25 grams of each body art quality henna, indigo, cassia obovata, amla powder and shikakai, recipes and instructions for each student.

Fee: $85.00 per student (group rates available, min.5 people)
Deposit required: $25.00 non-refundable. Complete payment due day of workshop.
