Amla Hair Oil
Amla oil is applied onto the hair after washing (and after henna and any herbal hair treatment). Add a dime amount of oil into your palm, and then rub it through the hair and massaged into the scalp to promote blood circulation. This also brings forth not only natural shine and soft texture, but rejuvenates dry and damaged hair. Brush your hair from top to bottom to get the oil evenly throughout your hair.
Amla oil may also be put directly into your henna or herbal paste. Add 1 tbsp per 50 grams of powder. This oil can also be used as an overnight oil treatment, and washed out in the morning. This is a very light oil and absorbs very well, and can also be left in.
How to store your oil: cool, dark place.
Organic Amla Powder
Amla powder is used to promote hair growth, maintain your curl pattern, or add volume to straight hair, and tones down the red of henna recipes.
Mixing amla for promoting hair growth and deep cleansing:
-For best results, add 1 tbsp of amla powder to 25 grams of your henna or cassia powder . OR -Mix powder (desired quantity) with warm to hot water. Let it cool. -Apply amla paste or mixed herbal blended paste in layers (and sections) starting from the front and moving towards the back. -Wrap your hair and allow to sit for 1-2 hours -Rinse or wash paste out. We recommend you use amla oil after your amla hair treatment for best results. How to store your powder: fridge or cool dark place. How to store your paste: freezer
Wait and See

I'm not sure if it will help with growth. I've only used it once and since my hair is natural and very curly I can't tell if there was any growth since I put it in my hair. I also bought on for a relative who has some patches of hair loss so I might be able to get a better gauge on growth then. I guess I'll wait and see.
Amla Powder & Oil = A Powerful Duo

I absolutely Love Henna Sooq's Amla Powder but combined with the use of the Amla Oil the results are just Surperb. The Amla Oil is very moisturizing and has a wonderful mild scent. It penetrates the hair and scalp very nicely and adds a great long lasting shine to the hair. I can't wait to see the growth results with continued use of the Growth Kit. Henna Sooq has the most Amazing products for ALL TYPES of hair. The Amla Powder is most definitely a keeper and now the Amla Oil is too as it has amazing detangling abilities. Another Grand Slam I've made with this purchase. :)
A Keeper Combination

The front, top and middle back sections of my hair are the straightest as there is only a slight wave. This kit was an excellent purchase. I followed the directions in the blog How to Avoid Brick Hard Dry Hair posted on December 23, 2012. After my amla treatment, I could see a curl pattern in those sections. The amla oil, with its nutty aroma, is wonderful. My hair is so soft, shiny and touchable. My fingers don't come away with a product all over them. Definitely a keeper combination.
