Rhassoul Clay ...Our Organic Rhassoul Clay comes from the Atlas Mountains in Mo...
Place desired amount in bowl (about 1 tbsp for one facial application), and add very hot water so that it slightly covers your rhassoul clay. Let it absorb the water from about 5-10 minutes.
For a facial mask you can add rose water as well for anti-inflammatory properties.
Apply the paste onto your damp face and leave it for about 10 minutes. Keep the mud damp with a water spray or simply by applying little water with wet fingers. Rinse your face with warm water. Pat dry, and moisturize with one of our organic oils.
Naturally this the clay draws out excess oils and bacteria, leaving the skin feeling clean, refreshed and nourished. You can also use some rose water on cotton to tighten the pores.
Store any additional or leftover rhassoul clay in a cool, dark place or your fridge.
For hair you can mix the rhassoul clay the same as above, but with more liquid to make it more fluid. You can use this to cleanse and wash your hair directly in your shower. You can also try our Moroccan Clay shampoo bar.
Our Hair recipe: (the proportions of this recipe do depend on how much hair you have. Please adjust as desired)
-1 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp marshmallow root, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp rhassoul clay.
Mix all dry ingredients together, and add warm water until just thickened and absorbed. Allow rhassoul clay to absorb water really well so that it's smooth and creamy. Then add these ingredients slowly together with your liquids (honey, and coconut milk). Mix all of these ingredients very well. Optional, you can add other ayurvedic herbs to this recipe for added benefits). Apply onto your hair in the shower (as it may drip), and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Wash out thoroughly.

Great for both hair and skin

This is fantastic quality -- I've been using it on my face with great results -- smaller pores, ultra-cleansed skin, and lightened hyperpigmentation from acne scars. My only complaint is that it's on the pricey side for Rhassoul; but in terms of quality its top notch!
Great for oily skin and large pores

First time trying this, I mixed it with warm rose water and it smelled heavenly. I let it dry. My skin felt tighter and smoother I loved it and will keep using!

My kinky locs

I've ordered my rhassoul powder from here since early last year and loved it ever since trying it out! My hair is so soft and manageable. Super easy to detangle....its such a breeze now to detangle, a dream come true lol. Anyway, I'll NEVER go back to regular shampoos that's a promise! I would definitely recommend this to anyone I come in contact with asking how to care for their hair. I haven't tried it on my face but I will one day...
Wonderful for daughter's face

I bought this with my 17-year-old daughter in mind. The day after I received the powder she had an acne breakout on her forehead. I mixed some up for her, she applied it and after 2 masks, 2 or 3 days apart, her forehead cleared up. This is wonderful!!

I am so happy that I got the chance to try this clay out. I added it to my cleansing mix of shikakai, soapnut, and aloe vera and my hair is so clean and conditioned, but without feeling stripped and horrible. I wanted to try rhassoul because I know that it is detoxifying and deep cleansing (which i want for my scalp and hair) and I was not disappointed. I waited a while for this to come back in stock, but it was well worth the wait. I suggest it if you really want a nice, deep cleanse without the stripping dryness that comes from using sulfates and the like. A new must-have for me.
Detangling made easy

I have kinky Black-American hair and enjoy cleaning it with this clay. I mix it with hot water and after it turns to mud, I funnel it into a shampoo bottle. Hop into the shower and soak my hair and add the mud. It untangles and organizes my curls while leaving them moisturized. I can't even go back to regular shampoo and conditioner.
