Not sure how fresh she sedr is has no smell and Sedr had a very distinct smell , I'm not sure if this is the reason it was on sale . I used it on my hair it was ok . Not sure I will but again . I have a friend that her mother will bring some back from Iran . I left a message for Henna Sooq to call me regarding the product hopefully I will hear back this week .

I love how this makes my hair feel! Strong but soft and very shiny. I also henna my hair. The sedr brings back the natural body to my hair, without altering my henna color. My hair is full, healthy and looks great.
Wow! better than henna!

I honestly liked the process and effects of this better than henna! While I have heard it doesn't bind with Keratin like henna, I love how it only takes an hour to sit, I added warmed distilled water the mix of 100grams Zizyphus, 10grams aloe, and then added a couple drops of camellia oil, and some shakes of cinnamon and ginger for smell; all without worrying about color deposit of any kind. After leaving it on my hair for 30 minutes my hair feels SO strong, thick, shiny, and added volume. My ends feel so soft and fresh, and to top it off, I still have enough for one more application that I froze!! Also, some have said this is drying or hard to get out, I had absolutely no problems whatsoever with dryness or difficulty getting it out. I did the mermaid rinse, and then an ACV rinse before letting my hair dry. Thank you so much hennasooq for your excellent instructions and product! ❤️
Great for co-washing

I have a 7month old baby and don't have time to do weekly treatments like I did pre baby, I do miss doing them though (I make special time for henna treatments, but the rest I don't). So I started mixing different herbs in my conditioners for co-washing. I just tried this with the organic sedr and I really love it. My hair isn't getting the benefit of a longer treatment, but it's still working wonders.
Bring Back My Curls
Posted by Unknown on 25th Sep 2016
I saw a woman on the Web saying that Zizyphus, brought back her curls.I forgot why she lose her curls. My curls was loosen from Henna.I been using henna for 2yrs every mo. I only used Zizyphus twice. Looks like my curls are coming back a little, it's a very loose curl. I am happy to see it, somethings better than nothing. I've slowed down from using henna. I am looking forward to seeing more tighter curls in the future.
Great Gooey Goodness !!!

Ziziphus Christi is a great colorless alternative to henna. It mixes up foamy and gelatinous. It smells very fresh and green. It takes less time to set than henna and washes out easily. Gives wonderful results on pre-oiled or conditioned hair. Leaves hair soft, bouncy and shiny.
Soft and shiny!

After reading about the benefits of ZSC, and the rave reviews, I took the plunge and bought some. I didn't follow a particular recipe, just added water from boiled fenugreek seeds to about two heaping tablespoons of the powder, and a small container of baby food bananas The texture of the mixture was thick, bubbly, and mucous-like, and smelled strongly of good-quality tea - which I like. I applied the mixture to my freshly rinsed hair and let it sit for about half an hour. It rinsed out so easily. I noticed immediately how soft, strong, and shiny my hair was. My type-4 ringlets were more defined than usual. think next time I will add slippery elm infused water to my mixture to increase the slip. Henna Sooq was right - a little ZSC goes a long way. I had enough left over to give my husband a treatment. To his portion of the mix, I added a heaping tablespoon of neem powder because he had been complaining of scalp issues. The next day, he remarked that the itchy spot on his scalp had dried up, so he'll be getting weekly conditioning treatments. For the past few months, I have been doing water only hair washes. The ZSC left my hair softer than henna treatments, so I hope I won't get protein overload (and breakage) from weekly conditioning treatments.
Really helps define my 4c curls!!!!

I was looking for a way to define my 4c curls and it did exactly what I wanted. I read from you tubers and other posts how difficult it was to rinse from your hair, so I added Motions conditioner. It made the recipe very smooth and really defined the really small fuzzy curls on my head. I also used a little aloe vera gel and opti-msm in my solution just to see how my hair would react (I know I'm crazy, but you'll never know if you don't try.) And it turned out great. I had a little left over and decided to freeze for later. I've read that the results are not permanent. My Dickey method wash and go turned out really well and my hair was very soft. Also I would recommend adding a tsp. of glycerin to your recipe, if your hair likes it. I think this help as well.

I was looking for a way to revive my curls after henna and Zizyphus definitely delivered. My hair felt conditioned and springy. Most of the effect wore off within like three days but my hair does still have a bit more curl than previously. I'd recommend it for those who want rejuvenate their curls.
