On damp hair apply to the scalp and throughout to the ends of hair. Gently massage throughout the hair to cleanse the hair. Can be left in the hair up to 5-10 minutes to further hydrate hair. Rinse out, moisturize, dry, and style as usual. Can be used daily. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Warning this is a long review. Okay, let me start by saying that I have been doing henna for 15 years…the wrong way. So hear me out…I stumbled across Henna Sooq online and was intrigued by a methodology I had never known. I didn’t know that you should wash your hair before doing henna, I didn’t know that you should let indigo dye release for 20-30 minutes (I was always told to slap it on right away because it would degrade), and I didn’t know you shouldn’t wash henna/indigo out—just rinse/cowash. The biggest thing I didn’t know is that henna came in varieties that work better for whatever situation you are going for.
My mind was blown when I saw all of the options. I immediately ordered the Red Raj henna (because I mainly use henna to cover my gray) and I ordered indigo (I like to tone the reddish color). At the time I should have ordered the cowash, but I was being stubborn, thinking old application method was fine. Fast forward to henna day: I did the two step henna/indigo process and was wowed by the depth of color I achieved. Since I didn’t buy the cowash, I decided to just rinse and condition. The color stayed vibrant but my hair was still coated with the remnants of henna/indigo.
Okay boom next henna day I decided to ignore the protocol totally and shampoo the henna/indigo out. Yes I’m hard-headed and yes it was a mistake. It affected the depth of the stain tremendously.
Well, I finally broke down and ordered the cowash. Today was henna day, and let me say that I am in awe of this cowash. Not only did it cleanse the henna/indigo, my hair felt clean without being stripped and without the residue of a typical cowash. I am in love. I am just waiting on Red Raj henna to be back in stock so that I can make a big order of that, the cowash and more indigo. I am in love with Henna Sooq and the quality of their products.
I have thrown away all my other shampoos and conditionsers, l love the look and feel of my hair. Originally I went to your website for henna info and ignored the hair care info and products. Glad I went all in with your haircare regimen, thanks for making my hair so good looking
I love the conditioning cowash - Rosemary Tangerine clary sage - I color my har with henna every 6 weeks or so and this is the perfect cleansing cowash to use. Since you are not supposed to use shampoo right after you do a henna color, I was using just conditioner to wash out the henna and repeat a few days later with shampoo. With this cowash, I'm able to get all the henna out in the first wash. I also add the sweet orange EO to the henna mixture and it neutralizes the henna smell. My only regret is that I never tried it a long time ago.
