How To
When used with henna or to create a hair mask or treatment, add 2-3 tbsp of amla powder for every 100 grams used. Add warm water or a liquid of your choice to the recipe and mix well. Prewash your hair using one of our hair washes or shampoo bars. On damp hair strands, apply to hair by sections. When used as a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment leave in hair for 1-2 hours. For use with henna hair dyeing, leave it in your hair for 3-4 hours. Rinse out well with our cleansing cowash for best results. Moisturize, dry and style as usual. Storage: We recommend you store all Ayurvedic herbs in a cool dark place, fridge or freezer and away from moisture. Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Always test all henna, herbs and products on your skin/scalp before use for possible allergies. Henna and Ayurvedic herbs can be drying to some hair types. Be sure to add necessary moisturizing ingredients to your hair treatments before and after. Henna can also loosen the curl pattern. Be sure to use amla or zizyphus powders or masks to maintain curl pattern.
You can use amla powder and mix it with conditioner, yoghurt, hair butters or other Ayurvedic herbs as a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment.

I Love Alma Powder, it is natural and healthy for my hair. I use it in my deep moisturizing mask and in my henna and indigo hair dye. I discovered Alma power from a YouTuber and started doing research on it. I love healthy Ayurvedic hair care products.
I'm a 55 yr old woman and was losing hair at an alarming rate due to menopause. My Dr. suggested to use rogaine/minoxidil, but after researching it, I decided that was a really bad way to go. I came across amla powder, and tried it. I used it once a week for 8 weeks, and documented it. My hair growth is amazing. I have before and after photos to prove it! My friends and family have noticed the difference too. I love doing my hair mask once a week now; a little bit of self-care is nice. And I can occasionally skip a week if I need, with no repercussions (unlike rogaine where if you stop using it once, your hair falls out in handfuls). Here is my recipe: 3 tblsps amla, 1/3 cup water, 1.5 tblsps almond or amla oil, 2-ish tablespoons of Griffin's conditioner. VERY IMPORTANT: make sure to have oil and conditioner for slipperiness...don't just do amla powder and water!
To be honest, I really don't know what to say about this product. I mix it in my Henna I'm guessing it's supposed to tone the red down But I have dark hair so the little color I do see is a beautiful Reddish tint.
Henna Sooq has the best Ayurvedic herbs! Amla is one of my favorites. So finely sifted, and great for my hair, love it!
Good and creamy
