Savannah's hair regimen and recipe:
"I’ve been using henna to dye my hair for a little over a year now and I love it! I used to bleach my hair blonde for years and have had every color of hair under the sun…needless to say my hair was fried, and badly damaged. I tried every product in the store to try to restore my hair and nothing worked, until I did some research online and stumbled upon henna. I was a bit skeptical at first, after all, I tried every salon product out there and nothing worked well, so how will a little plant help? Boy was I surprised! I bought henna, indigo and amla powders online, mixed them together and after many hours and quite a mess, my hair looked gorgeous! I’ve been using henna for over a year now to dye my hair a perfect shade of auburn brown.
My recipe is as follows…
200g of henna powder 100g of Indigo powder 50 g of Amla powder
I mix up the henna with lemon juice the night before I want to dye my hair, let it sit overnight, then I mix the indigo and amla powders with warm water and add them to my henna mix. Let it sit on my hair for 3-4 hours, rinse and voila!
I love the way my hair looks and how fast it grows now. I’m always getting compliments from people about how nice and shiny my hair is. I will never go back to commercial hair dyes again."

Covers Grey Perfectly
I've been ordering from Henna Sooq for a few years and the quality is amazing! It rinses out easily once applied and doesn't and dye my pillows. It also maintains my Grey perfectly!

waste of money
I usually order from Morrocco Method Henaa and their colors will stay for a month on grey hair. I got two different types of henna from henna sooq and their colors washed out after third wash. Once thing I noticed, other henna when I mix it it will release color after soaking all night. Henna Sooq hennas will color your hands right away, I am sure it has chemical and definitely not organic.
HS Reply: Thank you for your honest feedback. Really good henna powder with high lawsone content will produce dye pretty quickly. No chemicals nor additives are required for this. Our henna powder through testing shows it's ready in 3-4 hours and Moroccan henna 1-2 hours and this is quite normal for very good henna and the same henna that we use in the salon setting for our professional services. We're sorry to hear it washed out. Are you sure it wasn't just fast hair growth? This is a little unusual for you to experience it fading out but if you do require any other assistance through our brand, do feel free to reach out to us as we didn't hear from you directly about your concerns. Good luck! -
Love The Color
The color is beautiful! I usually use the red raj but I was tired of the “orangy” results and wanted something more closer to fiery red. Using this gave me that. I mixed it with amla and bingraj and let it sit for four hours. I will admit I don’t like the long time it takes for dye release. I honestly don’t think four hours was enough. I probably would have gotten even better results had I let it sit longer. You must try it if you long for more of a cherry red or a fiery red on top of red raj. Thank you Khadijah for another great product.

Good
I have been using henna and indigo for dying my grey hair black for over 5 years and I love the end result. The only thing I don’t like is the scent. It is a bit messy and time consuming also. Overall it’s a very good product if you don’t want to use chemical dyes.
